FadeKick SMS consent & program details

FadeKick (Opynbox LLC) sends SMS from a shared platform number on behalf of barbershops on FadeKick. Messages identify the shop by name. This is a MIXED program: transactional / informational texts and, only with a separate unchecked marketing opt-in, occasional promotional texts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help, or START to opt back in.

Consent is split (required by carriers): booking / inbound / staff consent covers transactional texts only. Promotional SMS requires its own unchecked checkbox. We do not combine marketing and transactional consent in one control.

Mobile numbers are not shared with third parties or affiliates for those parties' own marketing. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

1. Website booking — transactional + separate marketing checkbox

Live example: https://fadekick.com/book/freshlook (pattern: https://fadekick.com/book/[shop-slug]). Client enters a mobile number, then Review booking / Confirm booking. Transactional disclosure is under the button. Marketing is a separate unchecked checkbox.

A) Transactional disclosure (button click — no marketing)

Confirm booking

By clicking “Confirm booking”, you agree to the FadeKick Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. You also agree to receive recurring automated transactional texts from FadeKick on behalf of Imperial Barbershop at the number provided (appointment confirmations, reminders, cancellations, payment links, AI-assisted booking replies, schedule and availability updates (such as shop closures or a barber out sick), and the shop's phone number when needed). Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Promotional texts require a separate opt-in below.

B) Marketing opt-in (separate, unchecked by default)

Also send me occasional promotional and marketing texts from Imperial Barbershop (such as discounts, specials, and offers). Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help. Not required to complete your booking.

Transactional types covered by path A: appointment confirmations, reminders, cancellations, payment links, AI-assisted booking replies, schedule and availability updates (such as shop closures or a barber out sick), and the shop's phone number when needed.

2. Staff-assisted opt-in (dashboard) — transactional only

When staff save a client mobile number, this transactional-only disclosure appears. Marketing is not collected here; clients opt into promos via the separate booking/signup checkbox (section 1 / 4).

If a mobile number is saved, the client may receive recurring automated transactional SMS from FadeKick on behalf of this shop (appointment confirmations, reminders, cancellations, payment links, AI-assisted booking replies, schedule and availability updates (such as shop closures or a barber out sick), and the shop's phone number when needed). 3. Inbound / text-to-book (AI) — transactional only

Customer texts (218) 219-1989. First reply opts them in for transactional appointment texts only (not marketing):

4. Shop-owner signup — separate SMS checkboxes

On https://fadekick.com/signup, three unchecked-by-default boxes: (1) Terms + marketing email, (2) transactional SMS (required), (3) marketing SMS (optional, separate).

I consent to receive recurring automated transactional text messages from FadeKick at the mobile number provided, including account verification codes and platform texts about my shop, and (for clients of shops on FadeKick) appointment confirmations, reminders, cancellations, payment links, AI booking replies, and schedule updates. Marketing SMS (optional — separate control)
